Britain on the Verge of Surrender

It appears that Britain's ruling class is about to hand over the nation to Muslim invaders, who have never had to fire a shot in their conquest of the realm.

The Archbishop of Canterbury says the adoption of Islamic Sharia law in the UK "seems unavoidable".
Dr Rowan Williams told Radio 4's World at One that the UK has to "face up to the fact" that some of its citizens do not relate to the British legal system.

Dr Williams argues that adopting some aspects of Sharia law would help maintain social cohesion.

For example, Muslims could choose to have marital disputes or financial matters dealt with in a Sharia court.

He says Muslims should not have to choose between "the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty".

This simply beggars belief. The Archbishop of Canterbury - whose job is to advance the interests of the Anglican Church, mind you- is saying, openly, that the adoption of a foreign religious laws for an alien population inside Britain would "help maintain social cohesion." Anyone with an ounce of common sense understands that setting up a separate system of law can only further divide the population and destroy any chance of assimilation. It is impossible to believe that Dr. Williams is either so incredibly naive or so astoundingly stupid as to actually believe this. Which leaves the equally appalling possibilities that he is either eager to see Britain Islamized (in which case he is an out-and-out traitor to his people, nation and culture) or that he has come to realize that the sheer numbers of Muslims inside Britain will inevitably result in open Islamic rebellion, and hopes to forestall the day of that inevitable insurrection through appeasement.

Dr. Williams at least finally admits that "some of [the UK's] citizens do not relate to the British legal system." This is exactly the point many people - like Enoch Powell, for instance - tried desperately to make over the past several decades. That importing large numbers of foreigners from cultures wholly alien to Britain would lead to catastrophe - to social disintegration and the collapse of British identity and culture. Those who warned Britain about this were denounced as racists, Nazis or worse. Now, finally, having wrecked the country exactly as the alleged racists said they would, the "multiculturalists" like Dr. Williams are admitting, openly, that the "racists" were right all along, and that the things the "racists" warned about are indeed coming to pass. Of course, Dr. Williams probably doesn't consider the Islamicization of Britain to be a bad thing. He has made it clear that his mind is filled with hatred and loathing for his own culture and people and that he really doesn't mind seeing it destroyed.

The Islamists must be chortling with joy. They conquered Britain without spending a dime on tanks, ships or missiles. The conquered Briton through ideas - namely, exploiting the very bad ideas that someone put in the heads of Britain's intellectual class. The Islamists' success is stunning. The collapse of Britain's sense of national identity is equally stunning.

Last month, one of Dr William's colleagues, the Bishop of Rochester, said that non-Muslims may find it hard to live or work in some areas of the UK.

The Right Reverend Dr Michael Nazir-Ali said there was "hostility" in some areas and described the government's multicultural policies as divisive.

He said there had been a worldwide resurgence of Islamic extremism, leading to young people growing up alienated from the country they lived in.

He has since received death threats and has been placed under police protection.

Dr. Williams has just admitted that everything that the Bishop of Rochester said was true (even though Dr. Williams refused to support him - see posts below). Here are some new titles for Dr. Williams: Hypocrite. Traitor. Collaborator. Quisling.

More Wonderful Stories of Pakistani Immigration to Britain

How many stories of imported and homegrown suicide bombers, honor killings, terrorist recruitment and worse will it take to get Britons to understand just what a disaster Muslim immigration (and Pakistani immigration, in particular) is bringing on their nation? Well, perhaps one more might have some effect. This is the culture that the British government desires to colonize Britain:

A GIRL of 15 was tricked into a "telephone marriage" ceremony to a Sheffield man with a mental age of five in a ceremony recognised by sharia (Islamic law).

When the girl arrived from Pakistan expecting to meet the handsome man she had been shown in a photograph, she found that he was 40 years old, unemployed and disabled.

To make matters worse, her mother-in-law decided to exploit her attractive looks by forcing her into prostitution.

The family invited men to the family home to rape her before she managed to escape to the police by bolting through the front door. She was taken into care and now lives in a refuge.

The case is highlighted in a report by the Centre for Social Cohesion, which has found that policemen, councillors and taxi drivers are turning a blind eye or even conniving in enforcing the Asian community's strict "moral code" on young women.

And why are they turning a blind eye? Answer: Multiculturalism. If they dare to object, they will be called - the dread, career-ending word - racists. Other officials don't fear racism charges, they would just honestly rather see Britain and its culture utterly destroyed (these are the real ideological multiculturalists).

The girl's marriage last April was not recognised by the Home Office but was approved by the Islamic Sharia Council in Britain. She is typical of the runaway brides at risk of an "honour killing". According to official figures, 10 to 12 women are murdered in Britain in honour killings each year, but the government has been warned by MPs that this is a serious underestimate. Police often record the deaths as cases of domestic violence, while other girls are driven to suicide or taken away to their family's country of origin and never seen again. Many Asian parents would rather resort to violence against their children than see their reputation tarnished by the perceived dishonour of allowing them to become "westernised".

The report, Crimes of the Community, claims the problem is no longer an issue of first-generation migrants importing attitudes from "back home" but is "indigenous and self-perpetuating" because it is sustained by third and fourth-generation immigrants.

The study reveals the case of Saamiya, a 16-year-old girl from Birmingham, whose parents were so angry when they discovered she had a boyfriend that they flew her to Pakistan and told her they had arranged a marriage two hours before the ceremony.

"During the Islamic ceremony my dad was standing behind me with one hand on my shoulder and with his other hand he had a gun which was pointed at my back so that I didn't say 'no'," Saamiya said.

"To everyone else it looked natural — he was just standing there stroking my shoulder — but just before he had told me that he would shoot me if I didn't go through with it."

She was rescued from Pakistan by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's forced marriage unit and now lives in a refuge in the Midlands, but has been told that she will be murdered by her brothers. The girl told investigators: "I haven't been back home since then. My brothers say that they want to take me back to Pakistan so they can kill me basically. They'll just pay the police there to keep quiet... I don't want to be killed. I'm only 16. I want to live my life."

These are the sort of immigrants that the British government desperately wants to flood into the U.K. Can there be any doubt as to the consequences of these policies?

Death Threats and the Bishop

Last month, Dr. Michael Nazir-Ali, the Anglican Bishop of Rochester (U.K.) made public comments lamenting the closed nature of Muslim immigrant communities in Britain. Most notably, he pointed out that such a climate of hostility toward non-Muslims existed in many British Muslim communities that they were practically "no-go zones" for non-Muslims. The bishop, himself a Pakistani immigrant was immediately attacked by the politically correct multiculturalists. And, naturally - since he dared to criticize Muslims - he was immediately besieged by death threats.

Dr Nazir-Ali was warned that he would not "live long" and would be "sorted out" if he continued to criticise Islam, following his claim that parts of Britain had become "no-go" areas for non-Muslims.

Police have launched inquiries into the phone calls that were made to his home and have put him and his family under police protection with the use of an emergency line.

Surveillance cameras around the building have been improved. The bishop's mail is being screened by the Post Office as an added precaution.

"The irony is that I had similar threats when I was a bishop in Pakistan, but I never thought I would have them here," the bishop said. Meanwhile, Muslim leaders are to meet him in an emergency summit to challenge him over his claims, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt.

The reason the threats have followed the bishop from Pakistan to Britain is that so many Pakistanis, mostly Muslim Pakistanis, have migrated to Britain, bringing their culture of violence and intimidation with them. The "emergency summit" will be used as another means of silencing the bishop and spinning some nice "multicultural tolerance" PR.

What is astonishing in all this is how little support Bishop Nazir-Ali has received from his fellow churchmen. The Anglican Church is not only unwilling to defend its own, but is apparently eager to see Britain converted into a Muslim state.
